Survivor Assistance and Empowerment
Information and services provided by SAHELI are free and confidential:
Confidential Helpline: SAHELI’s confidential helpline is system where victims of domestic violence can reach an advocate live from 8am-5pm or leave messages between 5pm-8am. Callers do not need to speak English, because we are able to translate over 30 languages. Trained advocates answer calls or retrieve messages then return calls promptly. They listen to the caller's feelings, problems, and needs, and provide peer counseling, resources and emotional support.
